REPRESENTING THE PEOPLE’S VOICES AS GOVERNOR OF CALIFORNIA, ADVOCATING FOR THE WORKING CLASS

CHANGE CAN ONLY HAPPEN IF WE ADDRESS THE PAST
that has resulted in the California Republican party to become an insignificant minor political party. The Republican Party is at a crossroads. Support and passage of Prop 187 had catastrophic long-term effects on the California Republican Party. The current national Republican party’s approach to immigration is similar to what Governor Pete Wilson and the California Republican Party did in the mid-1990’s which supported the ultimate passage of Prop 187.
IF ONE DOESN’T LEARN FROM HISTORY YOU WILL REPEAT IT.

Representing Advocating For The Working Class

WE CAN CHANGE CALIFORNIA TOGETHER. FOR ALL VOICES.

The California Republican Party would be wise to follow President Ronald Reagan’s lead as he indicated in his address to the nation on May 9th, 1984 saying “Central America is America.” This campaign is about addressing the past mistakes, repenting those mistakes with those in the community that were impacted, and confessing forgiveness. Furthermore, President Reagan stated that “Hispanics are conservative,” and he liked to say, “They just don’t know it.” “President Reagan knew the Latino community was a natural constituency for the Republican Party, and he sought to reach out to them to gain their trust and votes” which is why he supported and signed the last major immigration bill in 1986. If the Republican Party does not recognize this over the next several decades it will be reduced to a minor political party.
